Booking a service

To secure your booking, a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total service cost will be required. This is non-refundable. The deposit is to be paid via an electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the account details provided by Ianah Lopez. Appointments canceled 4 days prior to the booking date may NOT be rescheduled. Appointments that wish to be moved 4 days prior to the booking date may NOT be rescheduled.

The Booking is not considered confirmed and the date not secured until a detailed Email or Booking Enquiry Form has been completed, Ianah Mae Lopez’s availability has been confirmed and the deposit paid. By paying the deposit, you are entering into a contract for the service(s) and agree to be bound by Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist’s Terms of Service. The contract between you and Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist is made up of your Email /Booking Enquiry Form and these Terms of Service.

Once the Booking is confirmed, the details will be as per those included in the original Email/ Booking Enquiry Form. If there are any changes to the Booking details (such as getting ready time/location or number of clients), Ianah Mae Lopez can accommodate the changes, the total quote will be amended to reflect the relevant changes. 

Privacy policy

Information we may collect from clients - In order to provide a better service to our valued clients, Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist may request personal details such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. If you choose to withhold requested personal information, Ianah Mae Lope Makeup Artist may not be able to provide you with the customer service you require should that depend on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law.

Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist will not sell or disclose the Client’s personal information/details to any third party without the Client’s consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings. Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist may use any of your photos without prior permission.

Allergies & Illness

All brushes, tools and products are sanitised and only professional and high quality brands are used. Any allergies to products or ingredients must be put in writing to the artist at the time of booking. All care but no responsibility will be taken for any allergic reactions. 

If you are sick on the day of the event, you are obligated to notify the artist so all precautions can be taken. If you show any symptoms or signs of illness Ianah Mae Lopez will have to decline services and no monies shall be refunded. 

Property

All content made available to the client via the Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist Website is property of Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist. The client may view, download, copy and/or print the images accessible on the Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist Website for personal use ONLY and may NOT be altered in anyway.

The client is NOT permitted to alter or re-produce the images on the Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist Website in ANY manner without permission from Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist. The client may NOT remove any trademarks made by Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist on any images, campaigns or marketing materials. If the customer wishes to share photos taken by Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist online, they must credit Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist in all circumstances. 

Mobile services area

Ianah Mae Lopez will bring all her equipment and chair with table when required. It is the responsibility of the client to provide a well lit, hygienic, clean space for Ianah to complete her services. If Ianah deems the area unsuitable for servicing for any reason that may prevent the safety of herself or the client she will refuse to complete the services and no monies shall be refunded.

Images

Client/s agree that Ianah Mae Lopez Makeup Artist may use any photographs or videos taken of the client for portfolio, website, social media or any promotions. Please advise if you do not wish your picture / video to be taken.

Rescheduling, Cancellations, or Late arrival appointments

If you have paid the deposit and provide at least 7 days’ notice that you are unable to attend the booking, the deposit can be redeemed against a future booking. Complete cancellation of your booking will forfeit any deposits made. Cancellations with less than 4 days notice will be charged 100% of the total service balance. If you are booked in for makeup services it means we cannot book any other clients and it’s likely we have turned away other business opportunities resulting in loss of earnings. 

If you are more than 15 minutes late, Ianah may not be able to complete your service and you will forfeit all monies paid for the service and the service itself. Ianah will do all she can to help accommodate, but to help all clients finish on time she must stick to a solid schedule.
