Meet Ianah – 'ah . ya . na'

Ianah’s journey into makeup started back in her teenage years out of a desire to understand and combat her own skin insecurities. Her curiosity towards the world of skincare and the innovations of cosmetics, was the catalyst to what led her to become her own hobbyist in the field – casually experimenting with colours and textures on herself and how it would look on others.

When it came to pursuing a stable profession that still inspired her creatively, makeup took a back seat. Her other passions lied in design and interior architecture. This became her main focus, which landed her an opportunity to work as a Graphic designer for a skincare/ cosmeceutical company – which was a dream in itself, to be able to combine her two loves of design and beauty. 

During this phase of her career she went on to freelance for small studios and work in larger agencies and brands across Melbourne within the events, sports, automotive beauty and retail industries. Ianah continued to learn and hone her skills in makeup outside of work, offering her services to anyone who would let her!
