My approach

I provide my clients with considered and individualised makeup experiences, that forego the trends to reflect timeless beauty.

My artistry is rooted in my experience in design, which informs my approach in colour, balance and shape.

I understand skin tone and skin textures, which is why I ensure my kit is hygienically stocked with professional, high-quality products that are highly-pigmented, and suitable for sensitive skin.

I enjoy connecting with my clients and working collaboratively to address your concerns to bring forward your most beautiful self.

How long will makeup and hair take on the day of the event?

Depending on the complexity of the look,  I allow 1hr - 1.5 hours for special event makeup and 45min -1hr 15min for hair.

Set up and packdown/ client photo time can take approx. 30-45mins on top of the total service time.

So generally total service time can range 2 hrs - 4 hrs per face including basic hair styling (if included).

Are Bridal trials compulsory?

No, they are not. However, I highly recommend it as it is a great way to get an idea of how you would like to look on your special day. It will also make your wedding day flow smoother as we will already have experimented with the exact look you want!
I allocate up to 2 hours for a trial, this gives us ample time to understand what look you’re after.

What products do you use in your kit?

No Makeup artist uses just one brand! My kit is fully equipped with professional, industry grade, products aimed at creating stunning looks that are long lasting and hold up through tears, sweat, heat. All products are safe on sensitive skin whilst looking amazing in real life and photographically.

Hygiene is of the utmost importance to me and I am...

Using hand sanitiser and washing hands between all clients and sterilising my kit and tools as frequently as possible.

Proper hygiene practices are in place for all tools and products used before, during and after each application.

Should I bring images for makeup inspiration?

I welcome any inspiration photos you may have on hand.
Note: It is best to draw inspiration from images of makeup on faces that have similar facial features, skin tone, eye colouring, hair colour etc.

How do I make a booking?

Fill out the initial booking form, which can be found at the top of site bar under 'Make a Booking' tab. Please be as specific as you can as this will only make it quicker and easier for me to get back to you with an accurate quote.

How soon should I book you?

To ensure I can accomodate you and provide my best services, it's recommended to book as early as possible.

For weddings (particularly in high season) I recommend booking at least four to five months before to your wedding, if not earlier. However, you shouldn’t book your wedding makeup trial until two to three months before the wedding as there are certain things you will need to know before I can create your wedding day look.

Can I bring my own makeup products?

Feel free to bring along your own makeup products, as this can give me a better understanding of what you prefer and are comfortable with wearing. However, all products in my kit are intended for professional use and are of the highest quality to ensure best outcome that lasts and photograph beautifully.

Note: Bringing your own foundation, lashes etc does not alter my makeup pricing.

Is there a travel fee?

A small travel fee applies in addition to the makeup service fee. This fee covers costs relating to; parking/valet (if applicable), petrol, tolls, vehicle wear and tear and travel time. This rate expires/ changes seasonally.
